Façade Systems

MB-SR60N HI+

Facade system designed for construction of lightweight cladding systems – flat curtain walls, infill walls and other spatial structures. The 60 mm wide mullions and transoms enable construction of aesthetic facades with exposed narrow division lines while ensuring durability and strength of the structure. The system enables flush installation of the mullions and transoms on the outside surface and offers a choice of external appearances. The advantages of MB-SR60N system include very good technical parameters, freedom of spatial arrangement and a wide variety of openable elements mounted in the facade. Particularly noteworthy is the MB-SR60N HI+ version of the system, which includes special thermal breaks and features improved thermal insulation performance. There is also a version without face caps visible from the outside – MB-SR60N EFEKT. Owing to an extensive range of profiles and accessories to choose from, the architects and designers can implement even the most daring aluminium-glass facade designs. For horizontally and vertically faceted walls special overlay profiles are used, accompanied with specially shaped pressure bars and face caps, which eliminate the restrictions in spatial arrangement of the building and the need to use special angular mullions. Modern accessories and connectors enable increasing the allowable load and thus the facade infill module can weigh up to 1,100 kg.

MB-SG50 SEMI

The MB-SG50 system gives the possibility to construct and produce light weight curtain walls of hanging and filling types, roofs, skylights and other structures designed for application in buildings of the general use.

The supporting structure of the MB-SG50 system is based on a mullion/transom aluminium frame of the profile width equal to 50 mm. Transoms are mounted to the mullions with the overlay method, which enables application of different ways of mounting. Special attention should be given to the aesthetic and lightness of the construction: the distance between the in-fills is equal to 16 mm, while the noticeable width of the profiles from the inside is equal to only 85 mm. Due to the similar structure of the mullions and the transoms, the appearance of the wall which is achieved from the inside is identical with the MB-SG50 profile system. This results in the possibility to install both walls side by side in the building. This compatibility is also reflected in the application of identical or similar accessories destined for connecting and mounting the individual elements, what significantly reduces the construction costs.

This system gives the possibility to secure mechanically the external glass panels along the whole surface and at set points, or at the corners of the set according to individual requirements. A very important feature of the MB-SG50 system is also the side mounting of the aluminium frames, which enables installing of opaque panels in solid brick wall.

MB-TT50

The new, modern MB-TT50curtain wall system goes a step ahead in functionality and effectiveness compared to classic crossbar facades.

It offers exceptional insulation and weather performance achieved by special 3 zone cascade drainage and ventilation of the glazing rebates. Its innovative construction enables to reasonably reduce the time required to manufacture and construct the complete curtain wall. It is designed to serve as the base system for security anti burglary and fire rated varieties.

System parameters

  • Air Permeability: Class AE 1350Pa, EN 12153:2004; EN 12152:2004
  • Watertightness: Class RE 1800Pa, EN 12155:2004; EN 12154:2004
  • Thermal insulation (Uf): from 0,5 W/m2K
  • Burglar resistance: WK2 and WK3

MB-SR50N A

Aluprof has created its overlapping system on the basis of the MB-SR50N mullion and transom wall. The system allows to combine construction materials having different characteristics and looking different from the outside and inside. External aluminium elements ensure durable protection of the internal skeletal construction against weather conditions. Two types of materials can be used for the building of the load-bearing structure: wooden constructional profiles give the interior a specific character due to the natural beauty of wood, which creates a pleasant and cosy atmosphere, while steel profiles may be required for the execution of the industrial-type of décor or when there are large distances between supports.
The construction features an aluminium profile, the so called “mullion-transom” profile, which is mounted to wooden or steel profiles by means of connecting members to form a compound profile – the base of framework for the curtain wall. The mullion-transom profile has also found an application in mounting and holding glazing units and infills, to bear wind loads and other loads having an impact on the construction. The mullion-transom profile features the fundamental role in drainage and ventilation of the construction. For this reason it has been covered with a blanket-type EPDM gaskets. Gaskets are differentiated to achieve a cascade-type of drainage for the mullion and transom, which further enhances water tightness. Also, between the glazing elements there is a performant thermal insulator. Thanks to its components, the MB-SR50N A curtain wall complies with the highest technical parameters in respect of thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as water and air tightness. The MB-SR50N A system can be applied in vertical constructions, glass roofs and winter gardens. The appearance of aluminium profiles, just like in the case of a standard MB-SR50N wall, may be shaped on an individual basis, depending on the architectural design, by shaping masking profiles into the desired shape.

System parameters

  • width of the mullions: 50 mm
  • width of the transoms: 50 mm
  • glazing with translucent units
  • max. weight of the infill up to 600 kg
  • thermal insulation: Uf from 0.72 W/(m2K)
